Well it has certainly been a couple of busy weeks since the opening of the Acoustic Café.

The Thursday open mic nights have been very successful with an abundance of talent walking through the door. It is so great to see the support fellow musicians have given us and we hope that in return we have given them a chance to show off what talents they have.

I have spoken to many people that have experienced an open mic for the first time and they have been blown away with what they have seen.

A special encouragement award to Michael Savvas, who is doing well in the JJJ unearthed, we wish him well.

We are thinking of showcasing some of the talent at the end of the month with a special Friday night performance of some of the most popular acts, so we will keep you posted.

The word is definitely out there in support for our Thursday nights, but the Acoustic Café is a lot more than just a Thursday evening.

We have created a warm and welcoming environment that we would love to share with you all during the week. We have great coffee and food, not to mention lovely guitars to play every week day and Saturdays. So if you feel like a snack or a coffee, why not come down and say G’day during the day.

We are also open on Friday evenings, so if you feel like kicking back after a long week at work, come on down for a few cleansing ales….and some good bar food.
